Advanced Lip Training Curriculum
A one-day masterclass combining advanced assessment, technique selection, tutor demonstrations and supervised practical training. Learn when to adapt your plan and when further filler may not be appropriate.
Advanced lip analysis
Assess the lips from the front and profile: upper and lower proportions, Cupid’s bow, vermilion border, philtral columns, tubercles, height, volume and projection. Consider dental and structural support, asymmetry, dynamic movement, M-shaped, flat, naturally thin and mature lips, previous filler and signs of migration.
Tenting for shape & definition
Explore vertical-style tenting to create controlled height, definition and eversion. Adapt your approach to the natural anatomy, Cupid’s bow, proportions and desired outcome, and recognise when tenting may not be suitable.
Volume & projection
Explore volumising approaches to create body and appropriate projection while maintaining balance with the facial profile. Consider product selection, placement and treatment planning to avoid excessive projection or an overfilled appearance.
Corrective shaping
Adapt your plan for M-shaped, asymmetric, flat, naturally thin or mature lips, uneven proportions, previous filler and migration. Select an approach for the individual anatomy rather than applying one universal correction technique. Consultation includes suitability, expectations and recognising when treatment should be modified, delayed or declined.
Demonstrations & model practice
Watch two live tutor demonstrations with the reasoning behind assessment, treatment planning and technique selection explained throughout. Complete two practical lip models under tutor supervision, assessing each individually. Revisit vascular anatomy, complication awareness and safe practice. Your tutor assesses consultation, planning, technique, safety and practical competency throughout the day.
