Cover masseter, mentalis, platysma bands, nasalis / bunny lines, levator labii superioris / gummy smile, orbicularis oris / lip flip and depressor anguli oris / downturned mouth. Explore muscular anatomy, assessment, injection points, planning and potential risks for each area.
Lower-face mapping & injection placement
Your tutor dedicates time to mapping the lower face and identifying muscles and injection points. Visualise how anatomy and muscle movement relate to injection placement.
Product, dosing & safe practice
Develop your understanding of product considerations, dosing principles, contraindications, client suitability, complication awareness, aftercare and prescribing considerations.
Live tutor demonstrations
Observe masseter and platysma band treatments, from consultation and facial assessment through to treatment planning, marking and injection. The practical element is tutor-led: no student injecting or student model is required.
Assessment, certification & progression
Your understanding is assessed through theory, discussion, facial anatomy and treatment planning throughout the day. On successful completion, receive your ECPD-accredited Advanced Anti-Wrinkle Injections certificate. The course supports preparation for Level 7 progression; it does not award an Ofqual-regulated Level 7 qualification.
